Privacy policy
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 22, 2026
“Alaska’s Garden” is DJ Alaska’s shop, operated from Jersey City, New Jersey. This policy covers the shop at www.djalaska.com/shop and order-related support. In this policy, “we” means Alaska’s Garden. Contact bookdjalaska@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
We collect your name and delivery address when you start checkout. For a completed purchase, we also receive your email address and payment confirmation from Stripe. We keep the products, sizes, colors, quantities, prices, order status, and any shipping or support notes associated with your order. If you email us, we receive the message and contact details you include.
Payment details
You enter card details on Stripe’s hosted checkout page. We do not collect or store full card numbers or card security codes on this website. Stripe processes payment information under its privacy policy. We share the confirmed delivery address and order details with Stripe to process the transaction.
How we use information
We use order and contact information to process purchases, pack and ship merchandise, send receipts, answer questions, and maintain business records. We also use technical information to investigate errors, prevent fraud, and protect stock from repeated unpaid checkout attempts.
We do not sell customer information or share it for third-party marketing. Checkout does not subscribe you to a marketing list.
Service providers
We use Stripe to process payments and send payment receipts. We also use service providers for website hosting, storage, security, shipping, and email support. We share the information they need to perform those services, including delivery details needed to ship your order. We may disclose information when required by law or to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.
Browser storage and technical information
The shop uses browser session storage to remember items in your bag and identify a checkout attempt. It does not save the delivery address in that storage. You can clear it through your browser settings, which may also clear your bag.
Our hosting and payment providers may process IP addresses, device and browser information, cookies, and security logs to deliver the website, process payments, and prevent fraud. Our checkout limiter stores a keyed identifier derived from the IP address rather than the raw address. We clear expired limiter records during maintenance. Google serves the fonts used on the site and receives the connection information needed to deliver them. See Google’s privacy policy.
Retention and security
We keep order records as needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, disputes, and legal obligations. We restrict access to shop administration and use encrypted connections. No online service can guarantee complete security. Do not send card details or passwords by email.
International visitors
We and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data-protection rules from your country.
Children
This shop is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and show the revised effective date. We will provide additional notice where required.
